Andy is a professionally trained actor.
He has trained at the
He has appeared in professional repoirtory and community theater productions in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.
He has also directed original and classical works of theater. As a longtime member of Toastmasters International, Andy
has authored and presented public talks and performances on a wide range of personal and academic subjects. In his public performances,
Andy combines the best elements of theater with intellectual seriousness to communicate with audiences of all backgrounds and ages.
 | Andy often uses theater in the classroom as a
teaching technique. For his Fourth Year Russian class at the University of Virginia
he directed his students in an original production of selections from the comedy,
“The Wedding,” by Anton Chekhov. The students performed brilliantly and entirely in
Russian before a live audience at the Russian House at the University of Virginia
on May 2, 2006.
